After completing the plan and designing the layout and look of your new kitchen it is time to get down and make some decisions. The basic kitchen cabinet and countertops can vary in cost depending on the choices you make at this stage. Laminate or granite counters? Square frame cabinets or miter corners?  What about glass doors or pot drawers?

It’s all here for you to research and narrow down what is best for your project. I have given my advice based on many years of experience but your decisions will be based on two things: your budget and your taste.

However there are some upgrades that are worth it and you will enjoy having as long as you work in your kitchen. My advice is to make certain you know exactly how much each extra costs so you can determine if it is worth it to you.
