Define the look and feel of your new kitchen
Now it’s time to define the look and feel you want in your new kitchen. The best way to find out what you like in kitchen finishes is to look at pictures of kitchens. You can see right away which colors appeal to you and what gives you the look you are after. Most people just can’t visualize what certain finishes will look like as a final product so seeing pictures of kitchens gives you a good idea of what would work for you.
Don’t get distracted by things you don’t like in the photos. Just pay attention to the overall feeling as it relates to the look you want to achieve in your new kitchen. For each kitchen photo I will give you the things I love and the things I would change. However, it is just my opinion and you may not agree with my advice. I just hope it gives you some things to consider when making all those choices for your new kitchen design choices.

What I love
- Best of both finishes with off white painted cabinets and dark stained island
- Lots of room beside the stove for prep work
- Breakfast bar is flush for comfortable seating height and extra counter space
What I would change:
- Lighter contrasting counter on island
- Save money by using a standard fridge making sure it was flush with cabinets and had minimal space around it.
- Larger light fixtures over island
